SERIGRAPHY

The serigraphs were made at the workshops of the National School of Professional Studies Acatlan from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and supported by Casa Sanchez y Compañia that manufactures machinery and serigraph material. Also, had the consultancy of the German engineer Klauss Gunter and the architect Gerardo Labastida from ENEP Acatlan.

Each serigraphy has a poem by Emma Rizo, responsible of ENEP Acatlan Cultural Diffusion.
After two years of work, these serigraphs were exhibit at the Palacio de Mineria together with the poems by the writer and a group of dance of the said University conducted by Carmen Castro.

Each work has around twenty colors and 120 printed serigraphs. Part of this work belongs to the University heritage.

This edition had a prize by SPA International in Dallas, Texas. Also, a Special Mention for its technique and the esthetic results. This is the most important contest in the world of serigraphy where everybody related to this technique takes place.
